ETSU Acknowledges SBA Award Winner Elisa Comer & ELTS
JOHNSON CITY - Elisa Comer, founder and chief executive officer of ELTS, has been named the 2005 Tennessee Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Comer was nominated by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at East Tennessee State University.
Comer will now represent Tennessee at the SBA Expo '05 from April 26-28 in Washington, D.C., where the National Small Business Person of the Year will be announced.
Eagle's Landing Makes the Cut for 2006 Blue Ribbon Small Business Award Winners
"The Blue Ribbon Small Business Award is part of the U.S. Chamber's Small Business of the Year selection process, and is awarded to companies that showed excellence in business history and commitment to customers, employees, and the community." Eagle's Landing was one of only 60 small businesses that received this award in 2006.
